I know I would love the fall if we actually had a fall. I'm in LOVE with the idea of fall.. The leaves turning brown and orange and red and it cooling off. Enjoying a nice hot cup of coffee sitting on the porch without sweat dripping off your face. Putting on a pair of jeans and not feeling like you are in the sauna. Actually doing your hair and leaving it that way all day. Being able to buy the clothes they are showing for the new season.
However Houston's fall basically just means...
- We are at 92 degrees instead of 99 degrees
- Instead of shopping in the 'seasonal' clothes you are at the sales rack because there is NO WAY you are throwing money down to buy that cute little longsleeved, cardigan, sweatshirt, looking thing.
-You will keep enjoying your iced coffee until November, October if you are lucky!
-We will still do our hair so that to other people it looks like we care but the minute no one is watching you, your hair is back up in a pony tail.
- I will still get so mad at myself for having leather seats and promising myself that my next ride will have cloth.
The bright side to all of this:
-Pedicures continue for show
-I do not have to rake leaves anytime soon. Which is actually one of my most dreaded things to do.. In fact I usually find a way out of it ;)
So on the otherside of life things..
My baby nephew turned 2! Not so baby anymore.. :( Happy Birthday Noah! Aunt Amy loves you soooooooooooooo much! He could so be mine! People think he is mine all the time and I admit I love it!!
